Environmental Assessment & Investigation s
The Yunlin OWF completed its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in 2018, receiving approval from the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA). An Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP) was subsequently established to track the associated impacts throughout all phases of the project, whereby the findings are published to ensure full transparency.

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

In order to limit the environmental impact created by the Yunlin OWF, whilst optimising the project development, construction and operation, the project underwent an EIA processes from 2017 to 2018, in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment Act. The Environment Impact Statement (EIS) for the project was approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on June 21, 2018.

The approved EIS is available on the EPA's official website:

Environmental Monitoring

As direct follow-up on the EIS, YWPC developed an Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP) to monitor the current environmental conditions and continuously track the impact of the project at individual stages. Monitoring prior to construction and during construction as well as during the operations phases is based on various criteria that reflect key environmental aspects.

In line with YWPC's EIA commitments, the results of the environmental monitoring are publicly available and can be downloaded here:
